DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:\n\nPRAY AT THE GATE\nCinque Ports Prayer Canopy - Dover, 18th & 19th May\n

\n\nFor several years CPPC has been meeting to pray God's Kingdom purposes
for our nation and for those in authority (cf 1 Tim 2:1-4, 1 Pet 2:13-17),
especially for Her Majesty the Queen and the monarchy, aware that as a nat
ion we need to be prepared for the next coronation. With her 90th birthday
this year, this is clearly an important time to be thanking God and praying
for the Queen and all the Royal Family.\n
\n\nDuring the past year we have
met to pray in the Cinque Port town of Hythe, but in May it will be time f
or CPPC to meet in Dover. With the current focus on the EU referendum, and
with concern for refugees and migrants, Dover has become even more of a foc
al point and an added reminder of its strategic position and symbol as a ke
y gateway in and out of the nation, both geographically and spiritually.\n

\n\nSo from 12.30pm on Wed 18th May to 1pm on Thurs 19th May, CPPC is holdi
ng its first prayer conference, 'PRAY AT THE GATE', based at the historic c
hurch of St Mary-in-Castro, inside Dover Castle, known as the 'Key of Engla
nd'. This is a call to all who can help us seek God, to draw His Presence h
ere. Let's stand and pray together 'at the gate' for such a key time as thi
 s!\n
\n\nSome may decide to fast during this time, so no meals are being pr
ovided, and no overnight accommodation offered at present, but tea and coff
ee is provided during the breaks and you are welcome to bring your own food
  as necessary.\n
\n\nFinally, to mark the end of CPPC's year in Hythe, and
the start of this coming year in Dover, there'll also be a prayer journey f
rom Hythe to Dover. It will start at The Gate in Hythe at 10am, and, after
a brief time of prayer in Hythe, we'll travel into Dover to reach Dover Cas
tle in time for the start of the conference.\n
\n\nIf you would like to joi
n in this 'prayer-drive' into Dover or would like further details about any
aspect of the conference please contact Keith Hayden 07583 335042 This ema
