Hope for the Countryside has developed out of meetings and discussions over the past 2 years. It is currently a partnership between the World Prayer Centre, Agricultural Christian Fellowship, Village Hope and Top Barn Trust.
Our aim is to mobilise and resource prayer for rural Britain – for farming and the land, rural life, the church and its mission. We have started in England and plan to make connections with those working in other nations of the UK as soon as we can. Our vision is for beacons of prayer to light up across our countryside as together we ask for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit.
Seeds of Prayer is our monthly resource suitable for use by individuals, groups and in church services. We want this to be both a reminder to those that live, work and minister in rural Britain as well as inform those who do not what are some of the prayer needs. Each month recognises the joys and challenges that each different season brings:
