The simplest way to change your email address is to click on the ‘Update Profile / Email Address’ link at the bottom of the last edition of Prayer Alert that you received.
To contact us over the internet, click the ‘Contact Us’ link on the prayer alert website at www.prayer-alert.net and complete the Contact Form. We can also be contacted directly through the offices of the World Prayer Centre in Birmingham. The details are also on the Contact page of the website.
Here’s how to suggest an article for consideration by the editors, in 3 easy steps…
- Prayerfully check out the item, that it is definitely suitable, up-to-date and needs Christian prayer. Items need to be national or international in nature,and not personal.
- Précis the information into approximately 150 words, add a short prayer and an appropriate Bible reference if one comes to mind.
- Email it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. remembering to tell us the source of your contribution and cut and paste the original web-page link if it came from the internet.
There is a possibility that your anti-spam software is blocking Prayer Alert from being received. You will need to add the email address – editor@ prayer-alert.net to your ‘safe senders / allowed’ list. The method for doing this varies between software packages. Often the simplest way is to create an email to the above address and send it. (this only works if the software adds any emails you have created to the ‘safe senders / allowed’ list. The print version of Prayer Alert is produced in the Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf). This allows it to be printed to whatever print settings your computer uses. If the file does not open automatically, you will need to download the free viewer software from www.adobe.com/acrobat . Select ‘Adobe Reader’ in the drop down selection box and click ‘go’, then follow the instructions on the pages that follow.
The main Prayer Alert email is distributed in html. This is optimised for on-screen viewing, but is not always convenient to print. This is why each edition includes a link to a ‘Print Version’ at the top, which is in an easily printed format. Click the link and the print version should automatically load onto your computer. You can access the Prayer Alert printable pdf each week directly from the website, by going to the Read PA Now page. You may like to add the link to your ‘Favourites’ / ’Bookmarks’. Previous editions are available from the Archives page.
