Unashamed Twitter

Huge thanks to those that got involved in our new #Unashamed social media campaign.  We had over 30,000 views on social media.  We will be running the campaign again in the Autumn so we'd love you to be involved again.

Are you ashamed of the Gospel?  This campaign is to encourage people to be unashamed of the Gospel and to speak out and share about their faith. This was one of the key themes which came out of our recent Trumpet Call event.

Next week, we will release a daily video at 9 am using the hashtag #unashamed on social media from the likes of RT Kendall and Yinka Oyekan from the Turning. We are also encouraging people to share their own short video about why they are not ashamed of the Gospel and their tips for reaching out to those around us.

How you can get involved

We’d love it if you could share this important message. It's simple...

  1. Retweet and share our posts and videos during the Unashamed week.
  2. Post a short video on social media about why you are unashamed of the Gospel or highlight a resource, prayer or tip using #Unashamed.
  3. Let us know of any articles or resources that we can feature below concerning being unashamed of the Gospel and how to share the gospel. i.e. Talking Jesus resources.

Resources to help share the gospel

Talking JesusTalking Jesus - The Course includes six practical, video-based teaching sessions with inspirational testimonies to give real-life examples from people who are talking about their faith in Jesus in everyday life, plus short parable-style films designed to get you thinking. A course booklet makes it ideal for home groups. The Course has been devised by HOPE, the Church of England and Kingsgate Community Church. item bookletTrypraying is a resource for people like that: no church connection or interest, but open to find out about God. The trypraying booklet is a 7-day prayer guide and is now being used by many to pass on to friends and family with a few words of encouragement – ‘Why don’t you try praying for a week and see what happens in your life?’
